JARTS SURVIVAL GUIDE

How to navigate your way to success!

Students at JARTS are expected to:

  • Review and study material on your own
  • Complete all assignments
  • Be ON TIME for class - make sure you know when your class begins!
  • Notify Astrid if you are going to be late or absent
  • Act in a Professional manner
  • Attend ALL Classes (see absence policy)
  • Bring school supplies you will need
  • Respect the parking guidelines
    • Speeding, burnouts, intentional littering will not be tolerated and may result in a loss of parking privileges at JARTS. Other institutes charge for parking.
    • Parking is at the side or back of the school ONLY.
  • Respect Smoking Rules
    • The only designated smoking area is by the handicap parking stall.

School Supplies Required at JARTS

At a minimum you will require:

  • Binder, paper, pens, pencils, ruler, and highlighters.
  • Calculator - the ITA has determined that the refrigeration program will use the Sharp EL-520WBBK calculator.  Please ensure that you have one for the first day of instruction.

 

If you have any shop time in your course, you will need:

  • Steel Toe boots or shoes
  • Safety Glasses
  • Knee protection (optional)
