Ammonia Awareness Course
This 3 hour course, developed for food producers, can be taught ON YOUR SITE, and will give your empployees a basic understanding of Ammonia as a refrigerant, its dangers, and what to do in an emergency.
Taught by an Ammonia Refrigeration Mechanic with over 35 years of experience this course gives a great balance between basic practical knowledge and safety.
Course Content Includes:
- Basic Refrigeration Systems, how they work
- Ammonia in everyday life and as a refrigerant.
- Oils and other potential hazzards
- A tour of your facillity to show your employees where specific dangers are and how to avoid accidental exposure.
This course was developed at the request of Freybe Foods for thier employees who may need to work near Ammonia equipment.
This course requires a minumum of 8 students and a maximum of 16.
