Level Four

You MUST be an ITA registered apprentice to access this course.

All Classes begin at 0700 hrs Monday to Friday.

Level Four consists of 240 hours of classroom and shop activites reviewing previous levels as well as introduce new materials.

Refrigeration code
Integrated controls
Electrical code
Troubleshoot complex electrical circuits
Three phase motor starters
Basic solid-state electronics
Control systems and components

Pneumatic control systems
Cascade refrigeration systems
Ammonia refrigeration systems
Absorption systems
Air-Air heat exchangers
System troubleshooting
Gas 'B' course

Tuition fees for Level Four are $620.00

Level four students should be aware that the cost of required code books and the BC Gas Safety Exam fee is an additional $844.00

Level Four as an IP refresher.

It is common for students from other institutions to sit in on the first 4 weeks of this course to get a better handle on the material that must be mastered to acheive a passing mark on the Inter Provinial Exam.

Please let us know if you have completed 4th year and want to attend 4th year as a refresher.

JARTS will arrange for you to write the IP at our facillity.
